Midterm Evaluation For Cash Transfer To Venerable Households In South Central

VSF Germany has contracted NAGIRA Consultants Limited to provide Support to Holistic / Ecosystem Management (Natural Resource Management process) services under a program called Community Action for Improved Drought Response and Resilience (CAIDRR) which covers Marsabit Central and Laisamis Sub-counties. The overall objective of the programme is ‘to contribute towards improving food security in ASAL livelihoods through enhanced response and resilience to drought’.

Support to Holistic / Ecosystem Management (Natural Resource Management process) provided by Ngira Consultants Limited includes among others Baseline survey to establish the status of community natural resources management institution and their capacity as well the relevance, and effectiveness customary laws as regards natural resource management. NAGIRA also undertook technical backstopping visits (Mentoring & Monitoring) of the VSF program.
