In order to address the environmental threats of the area, World Vision Somalia formulated the Awdal Environmental Conservation and Livelihoods Project. The project had four major components: (i) Natural resource management through FMNR, (ii) livelihood diversification, (iii) enhancing pastoral early warning system and DRR and (iv) enhancing Agro-pastoral project efficiency. NAGIRA was commissioned to undertake the End of Project evaluation.
